DINAMO MOSCOW WRAP UP RUSSIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Clubs belonging to the Mikasa Team Uniform Project continue to shine, collecting successes in 2016/17 season.

In the same hours Dinamo Moscow confirmed their dominance on the national stage, winning the 2017 Russian SuperLeague, the second in a row.
On Saturday night the Russian star-studded team defeated Dinamo Kazan 3-1 to give themselves an unassailable 3-1 in the best of five series.

Dinamo Moscow completed a remarkable turnaround after the first 3-0 defeat, then Goncharova and her teammates won the subsequent clashes 3-0, 3-2 and 3-1.

The championship victory will also fill them with confidence before their participation at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship that takes place from May 9-14 in Kobe, Japan.

Dinamo have never taken part in the Club World Championships and will make their debut in the competition with the opening match against VakifBank.

The other team will be in Kobe are: Hisamitsu Spring Saga (Japan), Rexona Sesc (Brasil), Vakifbank Istanbul (Turkey), Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul (Turkey), Nec Red Rockets (Japan), Osasco Voleibol Clube (Brasil), Volero Zurigo (Switzerland).
