CUCINE LUBE CIVITANOVA LIFTED THE ITALIAN CUP IN FRONT OF 9000 SELL OUT CROWD

Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno celebrated with cheers of 9,000 spectators Cucine Lube Civitanova, one of the Mikasa Team Uniform, that last sunday won the Del Monte Italian Cup in a thrilling 3-1 win over Trentino Volley.


With this success, rising to 17 trophies palmares of white and red (3 Italian Championship, 1 CEV Champions League, 5 Italian Cup, 3 CEV Cup, four Italian SuperCup, 1 Challenge Cup).


The fifth Italian Cup has come to an end of a Final Four in which the collective of Civitanova, led by the Italian National coach Gian Lorenzo Blengini, proved stellar in both quality of play and intensity. Since the semi-final match against Piacenza, Osmany Juantorena and teammates had a clear desire to return to the top step of the podium.


The last trophy dates back, in fact, to 2014, when Cucine Lube won his last Italian Super Cup.
