METALLEGHE SANITARS MONTICHIARI WON THE ITALIAN A2 LEAGUE AND ACHIEVED ITS DREAM

Metalleghe Sanitars Montichiari achieved its dream.

Montichiari, one of 2013/2014 Mikasa Team Uniform, completed a memorable season winning the A2 league. With this success Montichiari will be in the elite of Italian volleyball next year.

In this year the captain Ludovica Dalia and her teammates won 18 matches out of 22 and collected 53 points.
As usual numbers cant’ sum up a long season based on commitment, passion, hard moments like Serena’s heavy injiury, one of the most important player of Montichiari’s roster, or the defeat in Italian Cup final.

Team and its mentor Leonardo Barbieri showed an amazing strength and a perfect armony to overcome difficulties until the last winning points obtained in Monza.

Montichiari celebrated this result before plans and now it’s drawning for the next season. As first step, the Club confirmed the head coach Leonardo Barbieri.
