BACK TO VOLLEY

Pre season ended for most of the Men's and Women's Clubs starting this week with official matches
The highlight of the week is the Del Monte Supercoppa Italiana scheduled on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 at the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche. The MVA200 will be the official ball of this two-day big volley, a season-long ouverture that anticipates the 2018 World Cup in Italy and Bulgaria and will therefore be even more competitive.

The Men's Volleyball League for the sixth consecutive year has chosen our unmistakable yellow vblue ball for all matches of the 73nd Italian Championships and all the events of the League Volleyball. Among the four contenders at the first season trophy there will also be the Sir Safety Conad Perugia, a club belonging to the Mikasa Team Uniform Project, which is still among the most ambitious of the Italian landscape this season. To capture a place in the final, De Cecco and his teammates will have to pass Diatec Trentino in the semifinal scheduled at 7 pm on Saturday, October 7th. In the other semifinal there are Lube Civitanova Marche and Azimut Modena.

On Wednesday the 4th, Kioene Padova e BCC Castellana Grotte, two more Mikasa Team Uniform, will face in the Italian Cup. The formula of the 40th edition involves for the first time all 14 of the SuperLega but for Padova and Castellana there will be no evidence of appeal. Whoever wins will pass to the eighth, who loses will be eliminated from the competition.

Sunday, October 8 is kick-off time also for the Women's Serie A2 championship, where Mikasa is on the go with three teams: Lpm Volleyball Mondovì, Delta Informatica Trentino and Olimpia Teodora Ravenna.
Imoco Volley Conegliano, Supercoppa and Coppa Italia 2017 holders, will have to wait for the weekend of 14 and 15 October before starting a new path in the top women's championship, a period of time that will allow players engaged in Women's European Championship to integrate with teammates.
